Project Plan & Tech Requirements
Shaping the project, ensuring a well-defined project scope, and diligently addressing fundamental requirements while identifying avenues to enhance the overall user experience are essential steps to ensure a successful project kick-off and smooth implementation.
Our diligence firstly focuses on discerning the tasks, mapping the milestones and deliverables, and assessing the technical requirements so that our team can establish their development timelines and workflow. Here we also identify integrations, data needs, methodologies and user requirements.
This first step opens the door for efficient project development and establishes the team’s plan to achieve a successful ALEN launch.
Creative Design & Functional Requirements
Design and Functionality go hand in hand. Designing the user experience, layouts, branding, and flows with the functionality in mind, allows the platform to be engaging, friendly, and easy for various types of users.
This encompasses establishing roles, permissions, curriculums, and courses and understanding how they collectively align with the platform’s objectives for each action.
Execution of Design, Development, and Configuration
This is where teams meet and begin the actions of assessment, testing and collaboration required to meet the project requirements – Creative and Tech work together to execute and control the process, ensuring it works properly while delivering the needed experience.
Training and Testing
Very straightforward. Testing functionality, compatibility, workflows, and UX is key to identifying gaps in the process and ensuring the product will be ready.
This process involves active participation from the client’s Champion or team, who are responsible for overseeing the LMS platform. There is a slight learning curve to navigate. This involves implementing the technology and developing functions necessary to create and deliver courses, manage users, and make the most of the platform’s numerous features and capabilities that benefit the users.
Go Live & Engagement
Once the platform is tested through “quality assurance” (or QA) controls and is ready with content and data, it’s time to go live. This means the client will initiate an engagement process with their employees, and our team will be ready to tackle any challenge during the launch.
Upon successful launch, there is a review of the process and analysis of innovation and tech development opportunities which can further benefit the clients’ succession and growth.
Ultimately, our Creative & Development process is not a fixed one. It is designed to be flexible and dynamic, in accordance with different needs and environments that fit the best for that specific project.
